Mizaic to support North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust in advancing digital care across the region

NCIC will implement MediViewer – our intuitive electronic document management system (EDMS) – enabling staff to access historical records for its 500,000 patients, integrate with the site’s electronic paper record (EPR) solution, and support a much-improved patient experience. MediViewer is already in use at more than 20 NHS Trusts, including several within the NHS North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board.

Unlocking clinical insight and powering patient care

The new signing sees Mizaic join Alcidion’s existing partnership with NCIC. Alcidion recently announced its contract evolution with the Trust, delivering MediViewer as an expansion to its Miya Precision EPR solution. MediViewer will provide seamless access to digitised patient records directly within the EPR, helping to reduce delays associated with retrieving and managing paper-based information.
